It's the Day after my Birthday. Last Night, it occurred to me that I could have gotten a free meal...?
Now, I don't know why, but I remembered seeing this sign, or commercial or something.
I have never done this before, and probably never will...
But here's the question part... How, exactly does one go about asking for a free meal? Have you ever done it? Can you get it to go? Who offers free meals on your birthday?
I am just curious...

Hmmm. Never heard of any place around here giving out free meals on birthdays - I'm assuming you're in the New Orleans area. But like others mentioned, most people do give out free desserts.

Coincidentally enough, it was also my birthday yesterday, and I got a free meal at Superior. But it was just free for me, 'cause all my friends were picking up the tab. So I guess, if you want a free meal on your birthday - and it might not be too late - your best bet is to get some friends to take you out.

Happy Belated.

Every place is different, but I think you can get a free dessert at some restaruants if it's your birthday. Cracker Barrel used to give free desserts, but i don't know if they still do. Many ppl started taking advantage of the free desserts, and would claim it was their birthday when it really wasn't. Many places will give you a kid's sundae for free. I've never heard of anyone giving free meals.
