Well. I am married to an electrician and it all depends on where they are having it. Is it a hotel banquet room? a dress. is it the office, slacks and a nice Christmas sweater. You know as well as I do these guys DO NOT dress up unless it's church or a funeral. Make him proud but be real. Call the receptionist and ask her advice, see what people have worn in the past. Good luck

I have one of these to attend also every year. I would find a nice solid color dress with heels, a nice party dress, or really dressy pants with a fancy blouse or shirt. I wouldn't go dress casual. I wouldn't go with a prom dress on, but I would definitely dress fancy with heels on. Nice looking jewelry also. I bet you will see someone with a terrible formal dress that is too tight, so you will not feel overdressed! Good luck! :)

If it's a party at a restaurant, then you will be sitting a lot.If you can wear red, then do.(Christmas color)Wear your bling bling and a dress is nice.If you can't wear red, go the old stand by---black,with simple pearls or diamonds.Do yourself a fun thing---wear sparkly shoes, they always make you feel good.I would just relax and enjoy meeting the people my husband works with and for.......HAPPY HOLIDAYS.......

wear a pretty, but modest dress. not really fancy. like maybe your "little black dress". that way, if it's fancy then you're ok and if it's fairly casual, you're not overdressed. and wear your hair down. ooooooorrrrr if you're really really worried (like I know I'd be) ask your husband to find out for you what other women will be wearing, more specifically than "no jeans". I'm sure nobody will judge you harshly for wanting to look appropriate.

You can never go wrong with a black dress.
Keep it right above the knees, and pair it with a great wrap, and medium height heels.
The guys won't think you "overdid" it, it is the other women that think you did. And believe me, they will dress to impress as well.

If you have a simple cocktail dress I would wear that. Or black slacks with a nice blouse. Have fun!

i have study both questions. First (((((((((hug)))))))))))). there's a reason I stay 950 miles from my kin. i became reminded about that back 2 weeks in the past. i understand the way it will be. your children are youthful adequate that you do not ought to provide them an evidence about why! it truly is an advantage. also, as they strengthen up, they too will be subjected to those forms of "teasing" about torment in hell. this is even worse for a baby. this is in evaluation to you're taking some thing faraway from them. we've created our own vacation traditions. your children are so youthful that you ought to do this and they are going to under no circumstances understand the different traditions. one ingredient it is a lot relaxing is to make a gingerbread living house. We do this the week of Christmas. They love this a lot - picking out each of the sweet and at the same time as they are older, making designs, and so on. one in all their absolute favorites is Christmas Eve. we've the All Snack Meal. it really is a spotlight of the 365 days. we've mini-warm dogs, chocolate fondau, one 365 days "gummy undergo pizza". Christmas Eve is likewise sibling time - and that evening they unwrap their promises to one yet another - about an hour before bedtime. additionally they only LOVE creation calendars. you could get non-non secular ones. fairly ambitious human beings make their very own. you could make timber ones - yet i have under no circumstances bothered with that! For THanksgiving - properly it truly is a touch harder without kin unit i have continuously stumbled on. this is regularly about eating and staring at football and that i have never cared for it. I do make some classic nutrition they love and we attempt to "go out" as a kin that evening - ice skating or some thing. you'll omit the traditions - your children are not used to them. yet replacing a petty and bitter surroundings with a supportive and constructive one is the finest ingredient you ought to do for your children. Now that i'm older and performance gotten by using the "damage" from my kin, it really is a lot more desirable ideal. i'd not go back for the international.
