Sure you cat can eat fried chicken. My cat once stole a chicken leg from my dinner table. My other cat wanted a bite and they got into a big fight. It was rather funny. But to answer your question my cat survived eating fried chicken and seemed to enjoy it enough to fight for it.

A small amount, once in a very long while, as a treat. But no bones, and not as a regular thing: The fried chicken would have salt and way too much fat in it to be healthy for the cat.

If fried chicken is bad for cats think what it is doing to us.
Where I live, the neighbours eat a lot of fried chicken and there are lots of Ferrel cats that live off the leftovers. These cats look alright to me.

Sure, but I wouldn't recommend it. My kitten would attempt to help herself if I were eating fried chicken, but I try to keep her away from human food. It's not safe to feed an animal any pountry meat that's still on the bone because the bones are hollow and easy to choke on.

Why would you feed a cat fried chicken to start with? Cats eat cat food, hard or soft. The cat could eat it, but probably would get sick. Just like with you. You could eat cat food, but it would probably make you sick. You have to use common sense.

Can? Yes. Should? No! Not only is it unhealthy for your cat to eat human food (especially junk food), but you will also be telling your cat that is is okay to eat your food. Down the road you might end up having a cat that begs, steals your food, jumps on furniture where there is food (dining tables, kitchen counters). Of course it is hard to resist giving treats to your kitty, but avoid giving them human food as much as possible.

I really wouldn't feed a cat fried chicken. The fat content is really not going to be good for its health at all. It dosent take much to make a cat obese or ill.

take off the fried skin (unhealthy) and take the meat off the bones because chicken (and all poultry and fish bones) can splinter easily, and can either get stuck in or cut open their throats causing them to die.
