I know that they should be atleast a year because of the dangers of a dog injuring itself jumping while its bones are still developing. However, I was wondering what the rules are about exactly how old it must be to enter?

My dogs wouldn't even be jumping full height until they were at least 18 months. Competition would probably wait until they were 2.

I don't think there's a limit as long as the dog is trained and fully vaccinated, but I would suggest waiting to start training until 1 year or more.

you are right about needing to have the bones fully developed but have seen them in competition before the age of 1.

It depends on who is holding the agility trial.

AKC: 15 months
NADAC: 18 months
USDAA: 18 months

I am not sure. I thought that they could enter as long as they are properly trained, your sit-stay-down-come commands, but now you have me all mixed up.
