I've asked myself that very question. I have concluded that people that are rude will be like that whether they are a christian, atheist, egnostic. It doens't matter what their religion or beliefs are they will be rude. It is the personality not the beliefs that make them rude.
I have been judged awful by christians, and figured it is because of the same thing in their own life they are judging me on. Kind of like the old child's saying..."takes one to know one" I was called a glutteonous pig by a fat christian once. AND I'll never forget it.

Scott, I'm not sure why you feel Christians are being judgemental and rude towards you. I read some of your answers in this forum and see that you have a sarcastic sense of humor that can easily be mistaken for rudeness. Perhaps it was that. None of us are God. He is the only one who never fails us. Be blessed.

I'm sorry to hear that other Christians have been rude to you. Unfortunately, even Christians are still people and people do stupid things and I include myself in that. That is why we need forgiveness. We're not perfect but if we say we are Christians we need to try even harder every day to just be a little better and we do that by asking God to help us every day. A better response maybe is how we react to rudeness. A gentle answer turns away wrath. Try it. Someone is rude to you, try killing them with kindness in return. They wouldn't know what to say in return. Take care.

Maybe it is because they are a bit lost and confused. The definition of a "Christan" is Christ like. Look it up. I have been alive 35 years and have yet to meet anyone "Christ Like" especially the self proclaimed Christians of this world. We all fall short of the glory of the Lord and always will.

People are rude, they don't necessarily have to be Christian. I know lots of Christians and lots of rude people. Not all are the Christians are rude, in fact not many of them are. Not all the rude people are Christians, in fact not many of them are. Rudeness has nothing to do with a persons 'religious' beliefs. Manners are taught, and learned. Tired, unhappy, stressed, dispairing people tend to be rude. This falls into any group or culture.

Well, don't be too quick to kill the judges.
In certain cases, Christians are supposed to judge other Christians. This is necessary to minimize damage to the individual's testimony as well as the Church's testimony.
Now, as far as someone who thinks they are better than you, then that is an error on their part.
And Christians should never be rude. We don't have permission.

The same reason non-Christian people can be "so rude", because they are selfish, disrespectful human beings. You find them in every walk of life; there's no reason just to point out the Christians. We should respect everyone.

I hate Christians. I have heard nothing but **** from all Christians. They always have a problem with different religions. Their close-minded. They usually have a problem with non-conformists. They have never done anything for me, except criticize me.

Please do not generalize. i am very sorry that you have be judged by your "fellow" Christians. I do not think that should hinder you from God. And the next time someone judges you say "God is my Judge, and answer to no man". i think that being judgemental is one of many of our faults. i think that this turn people away from God themselves.
