i agree with swulfson. i have eczema and i did have itchy nipples. my dermatologist recommended taking lukewarm showers and then moisturize within 3 minutes of getting out of the shower with a fragrance free/sensitive skin moisturizer. you can also try to put cortisone 10 on your nipple to see if that works with the itchiness. or try vaseline on your nipple if it's super dry.

Itchy, sore nipples can be caused by several factors:
* Nipple Eczema. Do you have a history of eczema (atopic dermatitis) or dry, sensitive skin? When eczema is present your nipples may be red, flaky, itching, oozing and/or inflamed.
* Thrush. With "nipple candidiasis", a fungal infection, you may begin experiencing intense nipple pain with burning and possibly itching Your nipples may be slightly pink to red in color and may appear to have a sheen.
* Contact Dermatitis. From coming in conact with a new soap or laundry product.
When you shower, wash your nipples using only plain water. Do not use soap, which can be very drying, particularly to sensitive skin. Use lukewarm, not hot water.
Allow to air dry or pat gently with soft cloth.
