Aerospace engineering?

Friends i need to study aerospace engineering.I think to first studying B.Tech in hindustan aeronautics institute in Chennai then study M.tech aerospace in IIT madras.Can i study aeronautical engineering (B.Tech) for 4 years in hindustan and study M.tech 1 and half years in IIT.Please say or any alternative steps
