Not all religious people say that and the saying isn't necessarily stupid. I think it's said when others don't agree with you or they don't like what you're doing. It's said to get your attention (to insult you) and make you have thoughts about your actions. It's merely to get you to do the right thing (more like what they think is right for you.)

Well I wouldn't call it stupid! I mean yea we CHRISTIANS do say a lot of that kind of stuff but hey it's what we beleive in. Why do black guys use all the slang they use.....it's sorta what they beleive in and that's just how they talk. I mean it's like a way of life and when you grow up around it you usually sound like it to!
