I'm going to assume that this is a serious question from a young person who has problems in their life and is looking for a way out.
Drugs are a temporary way to feel better. After you take drugs (injecting/smoking/whatever) you feel awesome for a few minutes or hours, and when the high/buzz wears off, you feel like crap again. I speak from experience--last Friday was my bf's birthday and I drank way too much--I was sick the entire next day. Even though I had fun drinking with my friends, I hated myself for making myself feel this way and doing this to my body. Drinking is okay once in a while (if you are over 21 and know how to handle your alcohol--which obviously I don't lol) but no other drugs really are--I haven't done any but have friends who've tried pot and coke in the past.
Here are some ways that I feel high/out of my body naturally:
-excercising
-buying cookbooks and cooking for my friends/family
-volunteering at a group home w foster kids and knowing that the kids need me
(you are never too young to volunteer--reading to children, helping at a hospital, nursing home, etc)
-serving as a role model to others
-making crafts and painting even though I suck big time at it
-going to the beach or spending time in nature (camping, etc)
-getting a massage
-going dancing or even dancing alone at home
-listening to awesome music
I don't know how old you are, but email me at lapoetsmoderator at yahoo if you are having specific problems, and I will do my best to give you advice...
best,
n.

What makes you think that alcohol and glue aren't "drugs"?
The best and most reliable methods are things like vigorous exercise and meditation. Lots of people who exercise a lot report that it produces a high from natural endorphins.

Bizarrely your brain takes some of it's emotional cues from your body. (E.g. if your body acts in a 'sad' way - shoulders slumped, corners of mouth turned down - your brain responds to this with a downturn in your mood.) So if you stand around grinning like a fool for a few minutes then your brain will figure out that your 'smile' muscles are working, it will assume that you must be happy and will follow suit meaning that you will subjectively feel more cheerful. I promise it works but you do get slightly achy cheeks.

Where do you live????
You watched a sunrise/sunset from the top of a mountain? Do it from the top of a building if you cant get to one. If it doesnt move you....then it should.
Tried skiing? Tried taking an interest in people and getting enthusiastic about what they do? Tried playing a musical instrument? Tried encouraging someone working on something difficult?
Its all around you......not inside you.
