i used to buy this ages ago and even our local chemist dos'nt know where they can get it, its like a nail polish ,that you paint onto earings ect .to shield the skin from metal

don't bother, simply use an inert polyester varnish, water based. Plasticoat do one, sold in most DIY stores. Dont get the specilist finishes, look for clear water based varnish.

i think boots do one.i have heard that vaseline will do the job as well
