Spicy tomato and veg soup. Tinned chopped tomatoes, veg stock, chopped low carb veg (peppers, courgettes, onions, celery, broccoli, etc). Season with salt, pepper, herbs and a generous pinch of cayenne pepper (to taste). Simmer til veg are soft. Can be made in large batches and freezes really well. Lovely and comforting in cold weather, and feels like you are eating much more calories than you actually are.

Im doing the carb free thing too ! Try making him a nice salad - use spinach, cucumbers, peppers (try orange or yellow they are nice and sweet) you could put in some fresh herbs as well, like basil or thyme for some extra taste. Have some toppings available for him to choose (sunflower seeds or different nuts, cheeses) You could also make him a nice roast beef, or steak to go with it. If he prefers lean protein , grill up some chicken or even make him some Shrimp kebabs, with onion, and other veggies. hope this helps!

There is no such thing as a healthy carb free meal. A healthy diet needs to consist of all the major food types: Protein, Carbs, Fats, Fibre in the right proportions. Your body uses carbs as its main source of energy. Cutting out or cutting down carbs will mean you body has to burn fat to burn something but it will also damage your muscle tissues (which include the ones in your eyes so you damage your eyesight too). You might loose a pound or two but it will damage your body and cause it to desperately try to store more fat in the future.

Just eat healthy and exercise, its the best option.

I do a warm salad which is great:

What you need

Chicken
Corgettes
peppers
onion
tomato
lettuce
tarragon
dijon mustard
creme fresh

stirfry the chicken and veg (apart from lettuce and tomato) until they have colour, season lightly, add terragon, wait 30 seconds, then add a table spoon of mustard, 2 table spoons of creame fresh and mix together until all mixed with the veg and has an even colour. Serve on bed of lettuce and tomato.

Healthy and very tasty!

Some of my favourite carb free dinners are stir-fry, a big omlette, and a cauliflower and broccoli cheese bake. Also a big salad can be filling if you put nuts and avocado in.
