en meaning in and suite meaning bedroom, it means in the bedroom, such as a en suite bathroom is a bathroom attached to a bedroom ( think master bath) as far as the hotel is concerned, im assuming it means you have a bathroom attached, a fancy way of saying a basic thing

en suite is a bathroom attatched to the master bedroom, allowing quick and easy access to the bathroom for the person(s) sleeping in the master bedroom. normally, when a house has an en-suite it will also have a family bathroom, in a seperate part of the house. An en-suite will contain a shower, perhaps a bath and definetly a toilet.

A bathroom as part of the 'suite', so you don't have to go down the hall and share with other tenants/guests.

A minimum 'ensuite' (it should be one word, not two) would be sink/basin, toilet/lavatory/'WC' and shower stall.

From there they go up to whatever luxury you are paying for - double basins, bath and shower, bidet as well as toilet, attached sauna, etc. The really BIG hotels and resorts may even offer "His" and "Hers" ensuites!
("Hot and cold running maids" - or bell-boys - may even be available in certain places!)
