Apparently according to the bible god doesn't like sky scrapers, so it begs the question if he hates our modern sky scraper. And if he does, did he orchestrate 9/11?!

Some will argue that he has full control over the entire universe, or in other words, he is inescapably in control of everything that happens. I guess sometimes the only way to show someone you love them is to kill them in horrific ways.

The USA is arrogant and presumptuous - and wonders why so many 'foreigners' dislike it - but the WTC was built to be the tallest building in the world. The Tower of Babel, if you go by the common meaning of what the people said in Genesis 11:4, was meant to "reach (in)to Heaven".
[It was actually for astrology, which G-d hates, too. But the idea of 'invading Heaven' is involved in both!]

As the USA hadn't actually made that sort of proposal - why should G-d have done anything about it? (Especially as other countries had plans to build - or had built, I'm not sure - higher buildings!)

It wasn't the height, but the intention to do something both prideful and impossible. The USA didn't learn from the "Babelians", though - it has chosen the prideful and impossible task of taming Iraq! Maybe there will be some punishment for that 'hubris'/pride - but 9/11 wasn't it.

PS: "Begs the question" actually means to avoid it! (I think you meant, "begs for ..." - poor grammar, or, "inevitably leads to .."!)

God hates skyscrapers?! The tower of babel was bulit for a place to reach the heavens.
"And they said, Go to, let us build us a city, and a
tower, whose top may reach unto heaven; and let us make
us a name, lest we be scattered abroad upon the face of
the whole earth" (Gen. 11:4) (50).
God confused the language of the builders so they couldnt finish the tower. God wanted the people to go about the earth and be fruitful and multiply. Instead, they communed together and built this tower. This was a direct disobediance to Gods command. The tower was located in babylon and was never finished and was suspected to be destroyed with babylon. God never destroyed it in the same way that soddom and gomorah. Yes, in a way, god did orchestrate 9/11 because he is in control of everything. But, then again, we all have free will and the terrorists made the bad choice to commit suicide.

I do not think it was God who had the hidden agenda. However, he can do what he pleases and we will only know the whats and whys when we see him for judgement. Until then all we can say is it was a huge tradgedy and the loss of life was horrific.

God doesn't involve like that anymore (making miracles). As you heard Osama did that. Only a person with psychical problems could do that.
Didn't you hear about Armageddon? That's God's war and the end of evil and immoral people.

Where do you get the idea that God does not like skyscrapers? And please do not refer to the tower of Babel. God did not destroy the tower of Babel because it went above the second story. He destroyed it because it was erected for the purpose of being used as an observatory for astrologers. Astrology was the first organized religion and God disapproved of it because it was and still is a system of witchcraft.

But shun foolish questionings and genealogies and strife and fights over the Law, for they are unprofitable and futile - Titus 3:9

Further, turn down foolish and ignorant questionings, knowing they produce fights - 2Timothy 2:23
