My gf that I have been with for a month and I had a horrible date last friday. She was meanspirited, very critial, and distant. At the end of the date, she kissed me with her arms crossed, cancelled our plans for the date the next day, and said she may be up for hanging out on sunday and that she would call me on sunday to let me know. She never called. On monday she called me to see how I was doing and what I have been up to, I asked if she would like to meet me for lunch on saturday and she said yes. My question is, is she going to dump me? I figure is she wanted to she would not have called, agreed to meet with me, or left the possibility of still hanging out. Any thoughts?

NO...Here's why...She was in an awful mood...So what? Give it time. If on the other hand she does dump you, so what? Happens that she isn't the only woman in the world and some of the others are actually happy and engaged in life. Bottom line if this unhappy girl does give you your severance papers, my advice is get out there and look for something better...Nothing like showing up with someone new to make her feel like she lost out, my friend.

Clearly she is upset about something. Probably something you either did or didnt say or do on Friday. I suggest talking to her about it early on the next date making sure to let her know you were concerned about how she is feeling, if things in general are okay in her life, if she feels comfortable sharing things with you, and if she was upset with you over anything specifically. Let her know that your relationship is important to you. Don't pretend you didn't notice anything. This is a ticket to a single life. Good luck.

It sounds possible but it sounds like more to me by the behavior you have told us about that you may have forgotten something important to her such as maybe a date - anniversary, birthday, etc.....or you have done or said something to upset her and she just needed time to chill out about it....I would ask her...tell her you have noticed she has been acting different and harsh towards you and you want to know what you did wrong and how you can fix it. Good luck!

well....she might...but u do have a point: i doubt she would have called 2 see how u were doing if she wanted 2...maybe she was just having a crapy day on your last date....maybe she felt like things were going too fast and she just wanted to slow down a bit...see how she acts on saturday, what she says and unless she dumps u, and things are going ok, u can ask her what was the problem, just don`t sound like U R questioning her...be honest and tell her she confused u....

Its hard telling with women. If she were going to break up with you she probably wouldn't have agreed to meet you again. Maybe she's coming down with PMS or some thing.

She is going to dump you. Take the initiative: sit her down and talk to her about why she's acting this way. If she remains difficult, pre-emptively dump her!
