Well, the whole funding of faith-based programs thing is a biggie, isn't it?
But on the other hand, he demonstrated to the world that the Christians' dream President turned out to be the biggest screwup in recent history.
They had their way, and you'd have to be in utter denial to still think that the result was anything short of disastrous.

The biggest thing Bush has done for Christians since 2000 is expose them for what they are. He has exposed their complete disregard for the rule of law by using torture, illegal surveillance etc. By doing so he has also exposed their utter contempt for freedom, the only freedom Christian believe in is the freedom to believe and act as they do,and he has exposed that. He has exposed their greed by trying to funnel tax dollars into the church to force the rest of society to further subsidize the largest tax exempt bussiness on earth. This also exposed further what I mentioned before since public money going to churches would be in fact forcing non believers to help support their endevours through compusion of law. He has exposed the fact that their prejudice is more important to them than common sense, while we are in the middle of a war one of the top priorities of he and his ilk was to spend all their energy and time trying to keep gays from marrying and trying to keep a dead woman on life support. He cannot solve the real problems of our society but he can fly 1800 miles to sign a law designed for one person to keep a brain dead patient on a feeding tube. The man has in short proven to most non christians that christians are exactly what they always thought they were, and insured that many rational people will never again vote for someone whos religion is so prevalant in their life that it overrides their common sense and decency.

Bush did much to put this country under theocratic rule. He passed his "Faith based Initiatives", for one. The Protection of Expression of Religion Act, which makes it easier to attack the 1st Amendment to the Constitution is still being debated. Hopefully, that one will die. It allows those attacking the 1st Amendment to recover lawyer fees, but those defending the 1st Amendment won't be compensated.
