Hello dear!
Internet, is the revolution of our days!
Some years ago, Dr. Negreponte (if I am not mistakes, created the World Wide Web - www).
This is a revolution.
It is like the revolution of telephone!
People differ from other species, mainly due to their speech (and phantasy - vision)!
Then, people used painting and progressively started writing.
Some 3,500 years ago, in Crete, Greece, people started developing the alphabet - this was a dynamic evolution for human spirit, knowledge started spreading faster and to all levels of people!
The same time, they had telecommunications, using mainly, fire.
Around the same time they had printing (there are plates imprinted in the Museum of Heraclion of Crete and others in Greece.
Then, the telephone
and last the Internet!

even i need to work on a speech about the same topic...
i need it for an eloucation. i have to present it tommorrow. and i am damn nervous! i havent yet decided what to speak...
but here are some points to be taken into consideration:-
- uses
: to communicate with people world wide
: to find out any sort of information eg- any reserch work.
: to shop online and compare prices of items worldwide
: to just browse, surf or play a variety of computer games
: to download or share valuable resources such as any data, music or vedios.
: to find your life partner...
etc. etc.
