I am attending a dinner this evening with the Ashanti King of Ghana. I am a female. How am I supposed to greet him? Do I curtsey/bow? Please help.

Bend as if you are curtsying but bend more one knee as if you are proposing but dont let it quite touch the ground ,as if you are proposing. Hands below your tummy. This is a quick sweeping motion. Try and let others go first so you can watch how the females do it. Dont worry if you dont get it quite right,he will still be impressed.

no longer as president of the USA. once you bow to the King of Saudi Arabia that's an illustration of submission. a element lost on the liberals. We placed as much as no earthly king. i assume Obama will placed as much as all of us for peace.

I would say curtsy, he is royalty (to his people).
Refusing to join his harem would be a bit more difficult.
Enjoy your evening.

Curtsy and refer to him as "your highness."
