Probably cos whatever joke you tell, if you an unlikable person, people will find any excuse to smack you. Especially in an environment fuelled by alchohol!

Well!!!!!! If the joke is insulting then a violent response is most likely, as your dealing with a mix of bigotry against all foreigners and national pride. You don't have the right to Insult us because of race, the same as we don't have the right to insult you because of race. The fact that some individuals do is down to their rudeness.
