Would you say "a five year old child", or "a five years old child"?
Obviously you say "a five year old child".
So you say "eight century old temple".
c. is wrong because it is possessive.
b. is wrong because it is clumsy.

d. but leave OUT the hyphens - - -. Adjectives are singular.
pajamas... a pyjama party.
horses.... a horse farm.
