The Church has ceased to be an ecclesiastical institute any more. It is now an economic institute with profit motive and simultaneously, an employment agency to generate mercenaries and no longer missionaries who used to serve the Truth.
The Church has become a veritable repository of falsehood and corruption with the Pope as its personification. The Christian people have long been deceived of, by deep rooted falsehood and extensive blasphemy in the name of Lord the Father and his only begotten child Jesus. But now, all those myth have been exposed with advent of the Information Revolution.
In a way, it is all a part of the Cosmic Evolution when the human faith is under going a tremendous change. The Islamic religion is also undergoing a similar change but there is bound to be more bloodshed among them because of wide spread ignorance among them.

People tend to judge an entire church by what one man may say or do from the time of the first church men have ran them. Men will sin and offend one or more people in the church. People need to look to the Bible as the absolute truth and follow it and find a pastor, priest, bishop whatever you want to call the leader, that follows the word and keeps God first in their life. Also because men run the church they sometimes put pleasing people in the church before pleasing God. This is the main reason there are so many different christian churches. A minister gets away from teaching the word and God raises up another man that will follow Him and the word in truth. OR people are offended at the truth and instead of changing into who God created them to be they run and join or start another church.
If Christians want to change this they must rise up and be willing to look in the mirror first and see their true self as compared to the word. Then go and do the word. We claim we are to busy or the work is to hard. Truth is we are lazy and spoiled. Myself included.

I have no issues with the christian faith (believe in Jesus) but the pope is only a man and not the head of the church. Christ is the head of the christian church.

I used to be a Catholic, and I left a long time ago, in search of real truth, which comes only from the Bible. I have found Spirituality, given up "religion", and I try to be a Christian. Following Christ is where it's at for me,..and in my opinion, there are many others like me, who are finally waking up, and want the truth, according to God's word, the BIBLE...not man made rules and religions mixing with politics...Christ's true believers go straight to His word, and have been losing faith, as you say, or have been "disillusioned" with organized religions for far too long.
As end times approach, and many signs of it are already present, God's true followers have a real need for real truth and answers.

I'm afraid your information is somewhat erroneous, my dear mini.
And, may I say that the "Mr. America" is rather hilarious, too.
What a Tweedledum and Tweedledee show you chaps have got on here!?
If anything, I believe the number of Catholics and Christians has gone up in USA, due to greater immigration from Ireland.
But, anyway, you Muslims like to to pose as such big know it alls, don't you?
Merry Christmas!!!!

After the death of John Paul II this new guy is off his rocker. He pisses people off everywhere he goes. He has gotten into politics which he has no business and finally he spends to much on himself. Joh Paul I kept to being poor. He even was buried in a wood box. This new guy wears only expensive stuff.
So recap
He speaks and only stirs up troouble, and he doesn't live his vows as a priest as he should.

I don't know much about catholicism now, but there was definitely corruption way back when. That probably put people off of the real truth about Jesus.
My friend is catholic and she has a lot of issues with the catholic church.

Because we people in the 'West' value one thing above all else.
The right to THINK without being killed for doing so.
The more close-minded and controlled a population group is, the easier it is for them to be manipulated and coerced.
