As a christian, I believe that following the letter of the law so to speak in the bible definately brings responsibilities with it. We are told to dress in a modest fashion. It does not say women cannot wear pants, simply that we are dress like ladies. Many pants are cut in a flattering way to maintain a feminine look and I do not know any men who would wear ladies cut pants. Also, we are told a woman's hair is her crowning glory. So it should be kept long, but it does not give an exact length, so it is open to interpretation. Again, their are very different styles for wmen's and men's hair. However, beyond that there is not a specific dress code as such. The bible is really more a code of ethics and morality. We are given the example of the spotless and Godly way Jesus lived, taught, spoke to others and treated others as our guide to how to lead our own lives. If we try to emulate his teachings and follow his example then we are doing what we should and that is all we can do.

Why would a "dress code" make anyone more or less moral?
