The Gospel of Mary was written in the 3rd century. As far as historians can trace. She didn't write it.

Because Man wrote what he thought, not exactly the total truth of any given situation! The Bible was translated into English during the dark ages! There was no formal education present at the time. Idioms of speech, signs of the times, lost meanings of words, all written in a Version of the original writings! The English language is corrupt! One word can have many different meanings! Originally there was a parallel column on each and every page to help you understand the English Version. There is no "to be" verb form in the original languages! Strike out every is, are, was, and were, and find the true meaning, and word that is best used in English! We all need to go back to the original writings! Currently, God's word has been corrupted by paraphrasing, as well! Every jot or symbol in the Hebrew, Greek, and Chaldean languages has one meaning, and one meaning, only, not subject to interpretation!

Muslims began to say the Bible is currupt as soon as it was changed after the death of Jesus (pbuh). This is why the Quran was revealed. It isnt no 'new' thing an imam said 7-11 centuries ago but what was known after the death of Jesus (pbuh).
However the Bible still contains truth, truth that wasnt changed and some of this truth can also be found in the Quran this is why we respect it. We beleive 4 books were sent Injeel (Gospel), Torate (Torah), Zaboor (psalms) and the Quran. All the Books before Quran were changed.
Why? well all you need to do is compar and study both Holy Books (Quran & Hadith) to see which is truth & relevent

Mohammed believed in the Deity known as Yahweh, also known as 'God' and now 'Allah'.
He felt that the Christians of his day had been led down a false path by the Christian Church of his day. This is why....
51 Gospels considered during the Council of Nicea (the 1st Ecumenical Council ordered by Emperor Constantine in 325 A.D.)
Only 3 Gospels were approved; Matthew, Mark, and Luke.
Now known as the 'Synoptic Gospels' because they were chosen by this council which was called the 'Synod of Nicea'.
John was not 'approved' until 450 A.D. into the New Testament.
John was rejected due to three primary reasons;
John was not an Apostle, his real name was 'John of Patmos'.
John was the only Gospel to write about the 'miracles'.
John of Patmos died of an opium overdose in 170 A.D. while writing Revelations (called the "Apocrypha", Greek for "to reveal")

The "Bible" is not corrupted, nor were the writers; the people who have "added" onto it or "interpreted it" or "translated it" wrongly on purpose are corrupted.
"when did muslims begin to say this?" That's like saying "when did many Christians begin to say that the Qu'ran is of the devil?" .
The books are books, holy books, but still books. The people who INTERPRET and change the books are corrupted, not the books (but when the books are changed they are a "new book"). A book can't be corrupted.

Hi Stephanie, because the Bible is the cornerstone of the Christian faith it is the first thing to be attacked and will continue to be,but what people fail to realize is that no matter what the accusation is the living truth of the scripture defeats them all time after time, the truth needs nothing to be the truth and will always stand on it`s own power.
Islam is not the only religion to try and refute the Bible and they won`t be the last.
