I have to disagree with the apparent consensus. The first bugle call to wake Soldiers is "Assembly". The bugle call "Reveille" is played when the U.S National Colors is raised in the morning. The other major bugle calls is, "Retreat" played when the National Colors is lowered and "Taps" signally lights out. The U.S. Army, at most installations, continues to use bugle calls. reveille, its the sound that you don't want to hear at 5 am when you get to bed at 12 midnight and been very, very tired but you know you have to get up of else it will be tougher...
