You are lucky you have the Internet at your fingertips...
In the "olden days" way back in the '80's students had to go to buildings called "libraries" to find answers to questions like these.

Try using Yahoo search or Google.
Look it up in an encyclopedia. You may surprise yourself and come across more interesting facts.
(Hint: Last time I checked Dandelions and Buttercups aren't "plankton(s)" )
