Persistance, as in making efforts to achieve one single thing for a prolonged period of time. Like a friend of mine, he really liked this chick, she was quite pretty, at first she said No to him, but he kept on remaining friends and made his efforts to grow affection, he proposed her 2 more times, finally the fourth time she agreed, more than the persistence it was also the manner in which he carried his desire out which was important, he gave the girl her space n freedom but kept on reminding her , he still loves her.Persistence doesnt mean stalking day n nite,persistence is the key to winning affection when u really want someone, I m sure if it works on guys as much as on girls

Persistence helps in many things. But as in many things emotional, some things can't be forced. You can be plesantly persistent without stalking.
