I have about 20 peacocks .They don't eat snakes or peas .They eat corn is their favorite thing to eat .But they will eat bugs they catch ,mostly grasshoppers they like when they are available or other grains to some extent ,bread or any kind of feed for chickens , They will eat dog food .They are not to finicky of eaters but snakes which there is an abundance of where I live ,I've never seen them try to eat or even kill They never raid my garden for peas ,but they will peck at grass or weeds that are green

They have a diet about the same as turkeys or chickens, grains would be the favorite. but they eat many things, bugs, worms, lizzards, I've never seen them eat a snake.
Though Geese and Guinea Hens Hate snakes and will kill them (but they don't eat them)
