Here's a list of clothing and equipment to wear. I know you probably can't go buy everything, and that's alright, just do the best with what you got, and try and borrow stuff if you can. 1) long underwear (not cotton) 2) a waterproof, breathable jacket 3) possibly a fleece or wool jumper underneath your jacket, for added warmth 4) snow pants, waterproof 5) thick woolen or synthetic socks (1 pair. anymore and you run the risk of restricting circulation to your feet, which ultimately can cause frostbite) 6) a beanie, or even better for a beginner, a helmet. 7) warm, waterproof gloves (bring a spare pair to change into if they get too wet) 8) goggles or sunglasses (both protect your eyes, but goggles keep the wind out) 9) wrist guards. This is a commonly injured part for new boarders. 10) sunscreen. The sun reflects off of the snow and can scorch your face. 11) Impact shorts, or hip pads, or even borrow a friends hockey shorts if you don't mind looking bulky. (for under your pants) They don't look cool but will probably be appreciated for your first day. It's imperative that you don't wear cotton. Cotton dries very slowly, so once it is wet, it stays wet and keeps you cold, even your sweat doesn't evaporate quickly and can ultimately make you cold. sweatshirts and t-shirts make very poor insulators.

Yeah it may sound funny to us on YA, but I might be a little wierded out in your shoes. But give him a chance. Ask him whats up with that. Maybe he has poor circulation and cold feet? But then again why not just wear socks. It is wierd. I would like to hear his answer.

I would take my scissors cut the feet out then just jazz them up. Then show them to him and let him see what a pratt he was to have them in the first place. Hope this helps.

I would go put mine on too and snuggle up, then rip em off him as they are so damned sexy! There's just something about being that covered up that is a temptation!
