King James vesion, The Way from the Catholics and numerous other versions to fit their needs.
Why are they privy to do this? Sounds sorta sneaky or false to me.

Who Speaks in the Bible? (i.e. the Authority of the Bible)

Unlike the Qur'an which Muslims believe is 100% the inspiration and actual word of God, the Bible contains writings from various authorities. These include:

1. God speaking - Exo.20:2
2. Prophet speaking - Nehemiah 13:30
3. Disciple speaking - I and II Peter
4. Theologian speaking - 1 Corinthans 7:25 & II Corinthans 11:16
5. Unknown author - The whole book of Hebrews

Do we have that True Gospel which Jesus Christ (pbuh) Preached in Hebrew or Aramaic?
Did Jesus (pbuh) asked Matthew, Mark, Luke and John to write these Gospels?
How can Christians rely on the accounts in these Gospels which are the basic Pillars of their Faith?

indeed....who does have the right to edit and censor the words of god?

Apparently not the Islamics nor the Judaic, since they both have a little bit of fine print that says no one can alter god's words. Apparently on the Christians...oh oh, excuse me, I forgot it was a King's decree, that edited the Christian Bible.

Now the follow up question.
Is it that Christianity is adaptable in some moderation to the environment around it to mold to if not change with soceity? or is the changing of the book therefore nullifying the original word of god?

Why do you say that the Bible is the Word of God? The Bible does not make this claim for itself. The Bible in the Gospel According to St. John says that Jesus is the Word of God, "...and the Word became flesh and dwelt among us..."

The Bible is the Written Word of God because the Catholic Church declared that it was: "The Written Word of God," with all 73 Books included and nothing added and nothing detracted. After all, it was to His Church that Christ said, "What you bind is bound, and what you loosen is loosened..." Aprox. 400 years later the Catholic Church gave birth to the Bible, the Bible did not give birth to the Catholic Church.

Were you thinking that the Bible fell from Heaven into Man's hands already edited, printed and bound???

So you are wanting a Bible that contains over 200 books. Some of which have been partially lost due to poor treatment and weathering. Go for it. I'd like to see the most unabridged Bible possible myself. BTW, that's not the word of God. It's the Word of God as Translated by Man.

There is no greater thing to take advantage of then knowledge itself. They took out anything that didn't fit the agenda of those in charge in those days, while they destroyed and went on a genocide to kill all those who held the doctrine of what Christianity used to, for potilical agenda and the bishops of the west went right along with them. They burned and destroyed countless scriptures and changed the whole dynamic of early ancient movement brought by Jesus and put a lot of paganism in there, It never makes Christain wonder that their doctrines exist because of emperors and not the people who held the positions over the church. Then Martin Luther came in and destroyed it. St. Augustine created a philosophy in his confusion which only fueled the political beast even further to control. sad times.

I think the bible is a compilation of journals which were in turn edited to make way for a religion by the church which was the most powerful institution of the middle ages. The first "church" was built in the 7th century- that is almost 700 years AFTER the death of Christ. - it was a means of manipulating massses of people into beleiving that they deserved the fate they were dished out (as mere peasants)

IF PEOPLE WOULD CONSIDER THE HISTORY OF THE WORLD AND THE BIBLE PEOPLE AND FACE THE COLD HARD FACT AND THAT IS HOW ON EARTH DID WE GET THIS BOOK IN THIS GOOD A CONDITION?

WE DO NOT NEED IT PERFECT, WE NEED IT.
IT SEEMS THAT SOME OF IT WAS LOST AND SOME TRIED TO REMEMBER IT AND LATER IT WAS FOUND, BUT AFTER THE OTHERS WERE DEAD AND BEING PEOPLE TO HANDLE THINGS WITH CARE, IT WAS LEFT THAT WAY AND THAT IS FINE WITH ME.

THE MAJOR MESSAGE IS ALL HAS BEEN LOST AND EVERY ATTEMPT IS IN FORCE TO SAVE THE HEAVENS, THE EARTH AND THE WORLD.

Apparently, anyone who thinks he/she knows best. It's very common -- and quite frightening actually -- for certain passages and scriptures to be taken out of context and used for the individual's personal vendetta.

But then, there were entire books that were completely eliminated from the Bible. The Apocrypha and the Gnostics.

This is the way the book industry works.
You have writers, then editors then publishers.

It's common for ancient tales and legends to have many different editions. It's also good for the sales.
