you cant join the UN army directly. all the member nations of the UN assign a battalion or more to the UN. for example, the Indians in the UN army is actually a batallion of the Indian army sent as task force or whatever to the UN and they will come back to the Indian army eventually and a new batallion would be sent depending on the UNs need. So, in order to be a part of the Un army first u will have to become a member of the Iraq army. i donot know how ur government functions. i am not even sure if ur country has a proper army at this point of time. and even if it does when u do become a memeber of ur army i guess ur first task at hand would be rebuilding ur nation. to become a member of the UN army i guess is not in ur hands, it depends on the military. but as i said earlier, i donot know how it works in ur country. but in my country, India, it is the administration who decides. i hope this helps

The UN doesnt have its own army. Thier army consist of military members from different Nations. To be apart of a UN peace keeping mission you need to join your countrys' or another countries military that volunteers troops for UN peace keeping.
