Hmmm depends on what sort of person you are, personally i think horoscopes make me understand my self better because i believe in them and they usually always relate to my state of mind and my character,and they are daily,however proverbs are just there and never change, like a setting in stone, so whether you want to use it in terms of progression in understanding yourself im unsure on that one!

Ah I just love proverbs they are little condensed phrases of wisdom,they wont change your life but they can change your thinking sometimes.
