Okay, yet another one of those "should I call her" questions. But the specifics: I've really connected to this one woman, and I've gone out with her four times. The last two times, I was rather self-conscious around her, because of the social situation (one was a company party, another was seeing her with some friends of hers from way back). She seems to vacillate between enjoying being around me, to being uncomfortable - I'm not sure if it's shyness, or her reevaluating how much she likes me. The last time I saw her, right as I dropped her off at her apartment, she declared that the next time I'd see her would be sometime after Christmas (she's leaving the country in two weeks for a three week trip). I hoped to have an opportunity to send her off... could she be gently letting me go? Or should I take her at face value, and call her up?

Call her up, if she's letting you go then she's letting you go, whether or not you call won't affect that. Don't be too scared to call, you could be blowing a great opportunity.

call her! that way she knows you really like her! this way you wont have to pass your whole x-mas wondering if you will meet up with her in Jan or not! just go for it! Playing sms and phone games are not a good idea if you are really interested in someone! honesty is the key!

Hey, you know what. What's that saying? I think it goes something like the only question not asked is the stupid one. You have to always be prepared for rejection, but if you don't put your foot down and talk to her, how would you know!
