Well, guess you didn't ask a question but I'll add to it, an Italian tank (same war) had 15 gears, 14 reverse and 1 forward, just in case they were attacked from behind. Whilst a german tank had 2 gears, stop and go (couldn't be too complicated). We all know Germany's "war flag", the swatstika but Italy's was very basic, white cross on a white background.
