Has anyone had a negative experience with meditation, and/or is it preferrable to start with yoga and then incorporate meditation?

Is there a mind/body connection that has to be balanced in regards to preventing a problem??

(serious question).

Yoga gives perfection in stabilization of a position. Meditation needs perfection in position. If we go deep into medition, it is necessary to be perfect in a position, otherwise, our mind will effect in medition. In depth of medition, we will not be aware of our mind and body but experience truth and only the truth and reality.

It is possible to have a negative result if you are trying hard and instead of meditating in a relaxed way, you get more tense.

Yes, it is good to learn some simple yoga (including Pranayama) to balance your body and master some postures. It helps in good meditation.

There certainly is a mind body connection. You can prevent certain problems but not all. You can certainly acquire the strength to face them.

I started with simple meditation, breathing exercises, visualization, etc. Then later I incorporated a few yoga techniques. I've never had a negative experience with meditation of any kind.

Yes. we have to make many adjustments between the Prana, the body and the mind, otherwise Yoga and meditation will either have no effect or least effect.

some Pranayamas (breathing yoga) needs to be done to attune these three
