She's says she's only buying me a shirt for Christmas because we've not known each other long. I wanted something more expensive.
Don't you think she's being stingy?

No.You are being greedy.Maybe you are a bit tight-fisted when you take her out,& this is her way of letting you know what it's like.It could be she is a bit short of cash, what with family to buy for, there is a whole range of possibilities that have nothing to do with meanness.Look on the positive side, most women would take the shirt off your back, she's giving you one.lol

If you haven't been together long, what do you expect? You are lucky you are getting anything at all, and how do you know it won't be an expensive shirt? I think she is doing the right thing, otherwise how will she know you are not using her if that's all you care about? Just be lucky you got someone at Christmas, a lot of people don't have anyone to share Christmas with...

No, I don't think she's being stingy at all. You should be thankful she doesn't expect you to spend lots on her. Besides, with the money you save, you two can do something fun together, if she doesn't dump you for being too materialistic...

She's not being stingy but you are the one who is demanding. What more do you expect when she has the intention to give you a present?

She's not being stingy. I think she doesn't want to spend that much money on you. I think she just "like" you and her feeling for you is not that deep. And I think you are being demanding.

Well, don't buy her anything. Or get her something crap from the pound shop and if she complains, say that you've known one another too long to buy presents for each other. I bet she'll go spare!

If you havent known each other long, why do you expect more than a shirt?! Be grateful for what you're getting!

What are you getting her?

id say, be happy that she is buying u something.... dont bother weather it's a small gift or a big one, cheap or expensive...

if you are still not satisfied then do this:

if she buys u a simple shirt for you buy her a expensive one....
by buying her a expensive gift, that would show you are anytime better than she is.... don't you think?
