will if offset the fact that I am secretly wishing he dies?

Yes, I'm aware that I am evil! Please don't criticze, I can't help my evil thoughts!

But I'm sincerely praying he gets better. I just have a simultaneous evil wish he dies.

I don't believe you are wishing for him to die I think perhaps you would like to have a conservative in his seat I do think all of us should take a moment to pray for the senator and his family we as Americans must never let ourselves become so divided by party that we begin to pray evil upon someone simply because they sit across the aisle from us may god bless you and all fellow Americans merry Christmas to all

I would think it would make things worse as you would be compounding your sin ( as you see it, i'm not particularly religious) with hypocricy and god would see right through that little trick. Perhaps you should prey for forgiveness for wishing someone ill.

Re: Your clarification, then pray for both and ignore my unfair misunderstanding, there is no hypocricy in simultaenously admitting a fault and dispising it. And let me say that in this, your concerns to you credit and set an example that, if more christians followed, there would be less of the denigration you see here on the boards.
