It depends on what it is. It won't damage your hair. The best pill that i could suggest would be Nixon I watched my friend go through kemo and after she started to take them her hair started to grow fast. But she was also using the shampoo and conditioner that went with it. Good luck.

It depends on which tablet you have...some pills are full of fillers and stuff you don't want to be taking along with your supplement, and some of them are completely worthless based on their inferior ingredients.
The best hair supplement I know of is from www.procapslabs.com and is their "Hair Skin and Nails" formula. The ingredients are pure and they are taken as capsules with powdered nutrients inside, thus delivering the most efficient form of supplementation that the body doesn't have to break down to use. With tablets, the vitamins and minerals are all suspended inside a solid tablet and the stomach acid has to break all that stuff down to even release the active ingredients. Capsules are immediately melted inside the stomach and the very pure supplements are absorbed much faster and more efficiently.
I have been taking hair supplements for three years and have tried lots of brands, the ones from ProCaps labs are by far the best ones I have tried, and they produce results!

All pills are not FDA approved. It may cause more trouble than it is worth. Just my opinion.
