You can leave home at 16 in England. You must be able to take care of yourself and have a place to live, then the police leave you where you are and tell your parents they can do nothing.
It isn't easy being on your own at such a young age, people will try to use you without you even realizing it. The cost of living is higher than you could ever afford. You would be better off finding a permanent job (if you don't already have one) and sharing a home with a couple of young people.
It's a shame you feel you need to leave home but I wish you all the best and hope everything turns out good for you.

Hi The restrictions are you can move out of your parents home when you are 16 only with there permission. But if not you have to wait till you are 18. Also if your are thinking of living in your own, not with anyone you just want to move out, you may be put in a hostel until they can find you a flat. Also sometimes you have to be 21 to beable to have the key to a home. If you are not working you will get your rent and pole tax paid for you, but you will have to pay for the rest of the bills and food etc as you will now. But if you are working you wont beable to get a house of your own till you are 21 unless you can get a guaranture these people have to be over 21, this is so if you cant pay the rent they will have to as the house will be in there name until you are old enough.

You can leave home at about 16, however, you have to think very carefully before doing so because at 16 if you leave home of your own accord (in the UK) you are not entitled to any benefits as the benefits office will contact your parents to see if you can go home, when they say yes, you will not be able to get anything. You also need to think about where you would live, how you would afford things. Many private landlords and councils will not take anyone on below the age of 18 without a guaranteur, i.e. an adult who will be held responsible if you do not pay your rent.

Before u do this - move out - think well - if u are doubting your age of restriction - listen toyour guts hon ,
house rules are house rules and no matter how much u may not like them right now , someday you will have your own home and kids - you too shall implement rules wont u ?
in life , u cant bake your cake and eat it
its not easy out there - follow your guts - educate yourself - be someone -
cause you can get all else but your parents are only 2 - ones
that can never be replaced

you can live with a relative or at a private school or anywhere with thier blessing at any age. You can leave despite what they say at 16 if you can be emancipated, but you may have to go to court and have some reason why they are bad. otherwise you're not an adult untill 18.

In the UK it is sixteen if you want to live independently. You can move out to stay with relatives at a younger age if there are valid reasons and all parties involved agree.

In the UK it is 16, although I would not recommend it. You should be enjoying your teens, not worrying about bills.
If you want to move out, why not look at house-sharing. It costs alot less and you wont get as lonely. I mean, friends cant be there 24/7.

must be 18 or older if you want to move out of your parents' home - most apartment complexes will not rent to a person under the age of 18 anyway!

I don't know about restrictions but there are a few things you should look at first.
Ask your parents to look at one of their electric bills, gas bills telephone bills, community charge bills, food bills, water bills, house insurance, contents insurance, etc., and then decide if you can afford to leave home and live on your own
