cancerian and aries.... a poor match?

I'm a cancerian guy and in the last year I have met two girls, both were aries. I have rread that aries and cancerians don't really do well together in a relationship, but why is it that the girls I'm attracted to, and who are attracted to me are aries? what is it that attracts them to me, and me to them?
