Front wheel drive...Any particular reason you're asking this question??
FWD will handle better in the snow than RWD, as the car is being "pulled" as opposed to being "pushed".
Case in point, my Nissan Z is RWD, in which case the rear wheels are propelling the car which makes for great acceleration, but poor handling and "fish-tailing" in snow or heavy rain.

Its front wheel drive, for its simply a 2 door version of the that year's Sentra.
People may be confused because the original 200SX in the 80's was a rear wheel drive sports car (it was later called the 240SX).
I had a 1986 200SX and it was sweet, the late 90's version is a more economical car, but still fun.

Rear Wheel Drive, and a beautifully handling car it is too.

Apparently it depends where you are! Cos of the differing answers I looked it up online, if you're in the US it's front wheel drive, if you're in Japan or the rest of the World it's rear wheel drive!

you'd be more effective off to apply a rwd platform and shorten the body (if needed) and positioned the nissan body on the body. those autos were no longer designed to help the stress of a rear wheel drivetrain. If it hooks up you're replacing abode windows from the body flex. good luck and function relaxing.
