I don't know for certain, but I believe it is for preservation reasons that they are government property. Danger is another important possibility.
They are not all "off limits" many within the USA are open to the public and easily accessible for viewing, touching and exploring.

I grew up hating Afrikaans too, for enormously a lot an same motives (and that i replaced into raised Afrikaans!). yet an exquisite brown-eyed Boere-meisie taught me in the different case (pillow-communicate in english purely doesn't sound 0.5 almost as good). yet no, i do not imagine it truly is going to die out any time quickly, even if each and every very last Afrikaans-talking white leaves. The pan-africanists don't like admitting it, yet there are a good type of black those who communicate it particularly willingly, and it truly is been my journey that there are a kind of further who're particularly prepared on gaining expertise of it. It has also been my journey that those who would squash it purely for political motives are somewhat contained in the minority. There are purely too many human beings talking it now. If it does die, it truly is going to likely be an somewhat sluggish lack of existence, no longer a short one.

WHere did you hear that? I go into caves all the time. They are not owned by the government, but by whomever owns the land the cave is on. If it is Government land then the Government owns it. If it is private property then the property owner owns it.

We have a nice cave on our property with quite a large room about 15 feet in.....you are welcome to check it out on your next visit to Utah.
BUT, since we live in a rural area....just to let you know....often mountain lions take up residence in caves during the winter and spring. There use to be a grizzly in this area...but we haven't had a grizzly sighting for decades.
