Meditation is controlling your mind.
One thing you can do is go to a place where u can get rid of outside disterbances. Then sit on the floor with straight upper body or anyother confortable way. Then close your eyes and concentrate on your breathing pattern. That means when you take air in and out concentrate on that "take air in" and "out". This is not intentionaly controlling your breathing. It is only be aware of the breathing. So if u breathe intentionally you are doing it wrong way. Main intention is to keep your mind in one position without letting it going here and there.
This is the easiest and safest way to meditate. You don’t get instant result in any form of meditation. It’ll take some time. Do at least 5 – 15 min a day in the morning or evening. After 2-4 week you feel the change.

meditation simply means concentration. u can concentrate for nearly 1 min anywhere. if u can meditate only in silent environment then go to gardern every morning. meditate there. if u will focus on meditation u will forget stress. if meditation dosent helps then u can take a day off from work and enjoy some time with ur friends or dear ones. this should definately help.

Stress is not caused by the situation, but how you REACT to the situation.

Learn to break the cycle.

Become aware of when you are reacting in an undesirable manner. As soon as you do, tell yourself, "Stop!"

Reassess the situation. Ask yourself why you are reacting as you are and how will it change the outcome of the situation? Will your having a stroke or a heart attack make the situation have a better outcome? Is a cool logical thinking person better able to deal with a situation rather than a hot reactor?

Stop - then think.

Situations do not cause stress. How you react causes stress.
