It would be disrespectful, but you are right, it is just an object. We don't worship the Bible, but it is considered a love letter from God to us and therefore holds sentimental value. I have several Bibles in my home, but my first one is my favorite because it has all my notes and highlighted passages. It is no better than any other book on the planet, but it is personalized and familiar which makes it special.

Anyone can be an idol worshipper, including christians. Christians are not suppose to worship idols, but sometimes we become so infatuated with something, it becomes our idol. Idols can be money, cars, statues, coffee etc. Read the Dictionaries definition of an idol (Remember Definition #2 is saying the bible is an idol! Don't be dumb and try to use that as an argument. It is simple referring to the bibles definition):
·dol /ˈaɪdl/ Pronunciation Key - Show Spelled Pronunciation[ahyd-l] Pronunciation Key - Show IPA Pronunciation
–noun
1. an image or other material object representing a deity to which religious worship is addressed.
2. Bible.
a. an image of a deity other than God.
b. the deity itself.
3. any person or thing regarded with blind admiration, adoration, or devotion: Madame Curie had been her childhood idol.
4. a mere image or semblance of something, visible but without substance, as a phantom.
5. a figment of the mind; fantasy.
6. a false conception or notion; fallacy.

Christians don't worship the bible, they worship God. The bible is the word of God. If you urinated on the bible, some Christians would be upset. Others, would just mourn because you don't understand.

The Bible is not to be considered an idol; it is Gods way of communicating with us. The Bible is God's Word. But you're right in that True Christians are not to worship any forms of idols. Idolatry is a destable act towards God. As Christians we know that God is a Spirit, and those worshiping him must worship with spirit and truth. (John 4:24)

Many professing believers are idol worshippers, however the KJV is the only accurate copy of the written Word of God in english. And if you want to piss on God's Word, you may want to consider why would you want to do that? Also you show your ignorance, even if you dont profess to believe in God or the KJV as the Word of God, all law in the known world is patterned after the scriptures. Besides which the bible says that to please God you must first believe that he is. And also a side note, he doesnt reveal the mysteries of his Word to those that hate him. The whole world is in wickedness, and under condemnation. So if you think your insolent rebellion is going to make hell one degree cooler, then you are truly blind.

Christians are not and will never be idol worshippers. I will be disturbed if I see you do that on a bible coz its God'd word and I do not think God will be pleased with that. Belteshazar was punished by God for not respecting materials from the temple and I am sure the same judgement awaits anyone who disrespects God.

What would upset me would no so much be your "pissing on the bible" as you so eloquently put it, but your reason for doing so.

If you were doing it just to get a reaction out of me - no problem you would just have my sympathy

But if you were doing it as an act against God - that is a different story

I dont think its a matter of idol worship if you piss on a Bible and someone gets mad. I think people would be angry if you pissed on a picture of their mother too but we certainly dont worship our mothers. They would be pissed off just because they know it is your intention to piss them off.
