First off, I think you mean capillaries, not arteries. Capillaries distribute blood to individual cells, while arteries transport blood from the heart to the body.

Second, the bases of the nails do have capillaries running to them. However, the nails themselves are dead, so it would make little sense to nourish them.

Third, your nails are neither dead skin cells nor part of the bones. They are keratin, a completely different material.

Your legs have arteries, your arms have arteries. If your nails had anything they would be capillaries. but they don't because they are dead.

Coz they are outgrowth of ur bones. They require no blood or oxygen to grow. Hence they have no arteries.

they are dead tissue, like hair. the blood supply is in the matrix at the base.
