It could be stress related, you could be overly tired or it could be a symptom of an underlying problem. Get some rest and call your doctor in the morning.
Good luck!

This is very common and usually benign (harmless). It can be caused and exacerbated by stress, caffeine, lack of sleep, and irritants in some cases.
Rare causes are hyperthyroidism and neurological disorders such as Multiple Sclerosis. Note that you would generally have other symptoms if these were the case.
If it lasts for a long period of time (1 week or more) , you have eye pain, swelling, redness, or other facial muscles become affected, see your doctor.

Normal, but VERY annoying. Thinking about it just makes it worse too.
It happens to me from time to time, sometimes just one little twitch, sometimes for a week straight, particularly when I'm stressed, anxious, or tired. I can go months without the twitch and it may come and go quite often over a series of days or weeks.
A Magnesium supplement helps somewhat, but other than that I just tough it out.

Try taking a calcium-magnesium-zinc pill 3 times a day to rule out a mineral deficiency.
