After a girl gave me her phone number -- for better or worse -- I called and left a message today. The message said, "Would you like to attend a movie and dinner Friday or Sunday night? You seem like a cool person; I think you're a cool person; but I'd like to get to know you better. Blah Blah call me back."
Is there a waiting period for the reply?

Like most women, we are shy and its hard for us to get the courage to call you back. Give her a few days to respond....If not give her a call back to show initiative and if she doesnt call you back the second time, or answer, then I would give up....Good luck but dont let it get to you...

I'll just say give it sometime, but definitely don't call her back you don't want to seem like a stalker or nothing. And if she never returns your call don't worry about it, when she see you in that new SS IMPALA and another chick on your arm she'll realize what she missed! SO GOOD LUCK

A few days, she doesn't want you to think she's a Ho and call you back right away. That would be too desperate but if she gave it to you and it's really her number then she'll call back.

wel, id wait a day or two, in case shes out for the evening, then about maybe 3 days later, id call and say,'hey ileft a msg, not sure if you got it, id like to ask you out... i dont want to be a pest, so i wont call again,,thank you,have a great day..'then leave your number....if she doesnt call back, then you know

are you napolean, anyway that ain't the point here. the thing is what you sent her in sms wasn't really strong one. you should write her like this: Hi, Yesterday i was thinking about you whole night and wanted to meet you, i really enjoyed the time i had with you and wish to meet you again whenever possible
Now you will get response in 10 minute and if you dont get than you can shoot me
