I have two dogs when they were puppies i fed them cerelac(baby food).Other option is for packet food for puppies from pedigree or nutripet etc or foreign brands which are expensive but good. These are readily available in supermarkets. But once your pet gets habituated to these foods he will not eat home cooked meal.

A good quality dog food in a puppy formula. Or, if you want to cook for your puppy, below is a great recipe that will help the puppy build muscle and have a really shiny coat. I've fed this to many of my pups and then slowly transition them to dog food when they get older. Recipe: 2 cups oatmeal (rice can also be substituted for variety) 1 lb horse meat 1 tsp salt 1 tlbs cod liver oil 1 egg 1 cup cottage cheese Cook oatmeal and horse meat separately. Combine all ingredients and serve warm (not hot!). Make sure to refrigerate leftovers and label so no one mistakes it for dinner .

you want a healthy pup feed it healthy food. innova, canidae, wellness, solid gold, california natural are some good quality foods. The crap you buy in the store is just that CRAP. The crap sold at the vet is just that Crap.......... it is junk food you midas well feed your dog roadkill, diseased livestock, euthanized cats and dogs, chicken beaks and feathers yourself, cause this is what is in the commercial bought pet foods. (including science diet)

you need small dog puppy food...i would get dry food because the kibbles help clean their teeth too, unlike wet (canned) food.
