Religion...particularly xtianity is nothing more than a very effective MLM...multi-level-marketing strategy. Underneath it all is the power of the almighty dollar. What is most interesting is that it is the only enterprise where the consumers blame themselves when the product is not delievered. Yes, many are cons with big churches and live in big houses...insulated from the real world and all it's atrocities, but the average person is totally unaware of what's going on. It is the greatest LIE ever sold.

Although I have to agree with the statement I wonder what the question is. Although, and by no means am I Christian, if you remember Mother Theresa then you would know that some members of the church do give to the poor. She was a kind human. I would look her up.

You didn't ask a question so I can't answer one. Have you heard of Mother Theresa? Have you ever met any missionaries who travel to remote parts of the world? Are only Churches selfishly ignoring the poor?

You have a point. I am a believer and I've given this thought. Some of us within the catholic faith aren't all that happy with everything that is done, or not done. No institution is perfect, and the earthly church run by regular people like you and me are no exception.

Your perception is baised.....
If you base the ideaology of the world's ills on chuches, then you are truely lost......
How bout looking at the big picture...
Corporate spending...
Corporate welfare.....
Govt lobbyist spending...
growth of Federal deficit.......
credits for the wealthy.......
global warming......
poverty.....
excessive property assesements......
developers dumping waste in rivers........
nuclear waste......
gas prices......
minimum wage.......
murder for hire........
gang lands......
scam artists.......
money laundering.......
drug capital......
terrorists......
child molesting priests......
((just a few things here....))
Like I said.... your perspective is biased.... there is much more to the problem associated with the world's ills than churches.....
your sister,
Ginger

the terrific tale ever advised grew to become into advised with the help of Timothy Richardson's grandpa to him on December twenty 2d, 1954 in London, Ontario. regrettably, his grandpa's surpassed on now, and Tim won't be in a position to bear in mind something on the subject of the truthfully tale, so that's misplaced to us continually.

you're stereotyping churches, and you're singling out a few bad eggs among many many good priests and preachers. look at all the good that churches do! my church at home holds food drives, donates money, clothing, and food to needy families, we sent christmas presents to poor children at christmas time! and i know many churches like us. so please don't stereotype churches.
