Have you tried Pycnogenol? 100 mg a day is sometimes helpful. Monavie has helped many children with ADHD to calm down some. A magnet mattress pad was useful in one small study.

Maybe you should see a specialist on the matter. If you are already taking Ritalin and are not seeing a change..sounds to me like it is not working. Maybe you need to talk with your doctor and let him know. If you are school age talk to your folks..if you are an adult maybe you can inquire at your local junior college...so many junior colleges have programs that are designed to help people with learning disabilities and ADD manage thei trouble. Talk to the psychiatrist who prescribed the Ritalin to see if you could go onto another medication that might be more effective for you. Also, think about starting therapy with a counselor, who can help you develop coping strategies.

I have ADD and I take adderall. It has helped me the most, I did take Ritalin.

I don't have ADD but my son currently is suffering from ADHD. He is on Concerta (ritalin based but a softer version). he is doing fine w/ it. I would ask a doctor what your tolerance for medication for your condition so that way you won't become zombie like while taking the medication.

I have ADHD and all i do is take speed pills like adderall or riddilin go see a doctor and talk to them about ur problems and they will get u on some medicine
