Everytime I feel like I'm in love, I think it's my first true love. Typically the first love is just puppy love. My last experience in love was almost creepy how similar we were. We had inside jokes that no one got but us, we'd think the same things at the same time, finish eachother's sentences, etc. He could make me laugh even when I felt like crying. He bought me flowers for no reason at all. He made my stomach feel funny everytime I was around him. For a while he made me feel like I was the most important person in his life, but unfortunately it didn't work out in the end.

handsome.
I was sooooo in love and we were too young to appreciate each other and to treat each other well. If I had met him a few years later I could have definately had a serious long term relationship with him. One of the last times I saw him was at a leaving party (I was moving up north with a BF) and he asked me to stay and to be with him, he said in the future we could get married. I knew then that my relationship with the bf at the time would never work as I was still in love with my first love but it was the day before I had to leave and I was too scared to change my mind at that time.
I haven't seen my first love in almost 10years but I think of him every day, i still have strong feelings for him and always will. I have been married and now going through a seperation (nothing to do with this) but he has alwasy been on my mind, and I always wonder what if.

My first love was an older man but before I get into that a little history about me is in order.
My mother always told me never tell a man that you love him because he will laugh at you and break your heart. She said this because it happened to her.
So my first love came after I had my son when I had just turned the tender age of 17. The man was older, in his 20's had already been married and had a son of his own. He and I saw each other for several months and then one night he told me that he loved me. Of course I had already felt that way for some time so I was floating on a cloud when he finally told me. I told him I felt the same way and was expecting our relationship to become even more wonderful than it already was.
Well the next day no call, then the next, then the next. What was even more strange was I hadn't heard from my best friend either. So I called her to tell her what was going on. She sounded weird on the phone so I asked her if she was seeing him for some strange reason. She said yes and my heart was not only broken from my first love but by my best friend. Even now thinking about it I get a twinge of anger.
They have been married now for over 15 years. I guess it was true love for them...... who knows but me, I'm still waiting for my true love to come around.

Gosh...it was extremely intense..I mean my feeling towards the guy. He is one coolest guy I've ever met in my life--very exciting and caring. Sadly, after I told him how I felt, he admited to me that he only liked me as a sister (the guy is about 4 years older than me.)

It was pretty sad, but when I look back, it's an experience and that I don't have any hard feelings towards that rejection. It's been like 10 years now and we are still friends.

He is an idiot. I was too blinded by his good qualities(he was cute, smart, and athletic) that I didn't notice the most important thing which is the attitude. I tried to be in whatever he's involved in to be close to him but later on, he basically used me to become the best in everything. Later, I ended up being better than him and he got jealous. He betrayed me and spread rumors about me to bring me down. That was when I saw his true form.

She is simply amazing, love can be as heartbreaking as it is freeing. I felt like I met the one person who was meant for me, like everything was turning around for the better in my life and it did because she was in my life. I still feel that way, although I am just waiting for the day to have her back in my arms again. If and when that day ever comes, love refuses to let go of your heart when it is true thats part of the reason it can hurt to be apart from those you truly love.

it feels like you want to see him every day. i felt it in my junior year in high school, he was a senior, and believe me, i didn't miss any school day. even if there is no classess due to bad weather, or other circumstances, i will go to school hoping i will see him there. and once i saw him, it feels like heaven, my day would be complete, though, i would also feel butterflies in my stomach, and my heart beats fast.
when we have the chance to talk, i feel all red, and i know im blushing, i just dont know if he notices that.
sadly, we didn't became an item, i ended up with his bestfriend instead. but when i see him, up to this moment, my feelings are still there, and the butterflies come back, together with the blushing and the heart beating faster.

Blonde, intelligent, British...

It was the first time that I realised that 'love' could go beyond a physical thing, and that I could be emotionally happy too...
