I find it so rude when I travel and the bloody people can't even speak English! Don't you find that absolutley appaling?
Or even worse in my home country the blimey people can't even speak a word of English. Or they have this horrid accent that makes me want to vomit.
It should be required that everyone learns English, I find it such a hindrance when I can't communicate with them. What lazy people, they can't even learn a simple language? Gosh the world is so messed up.

We don't seem to be extra impolite than the French, they refused to gain knowledge of some other language, and while you consult with France if you do not talk French you are screw. So is in Quebec, Canada. And once they consult with different nation they refused to talk something however French. By the way in which Christopher Columbus, didn't located America, he learned. And it was once the British, who Founded America, and so they spoke English. The first immigrants that got here to those nation needed to gain knowledge of English, and so they labored for a dwelling to make this nation what it's at present, so you'll ***** approximately it. So why the hell, no one desires to gain knowledge of the language, once they come to this nation anymore? And the bulk are dwelling off the federal government. Do you think that if it had been the wrong way round, and the ppl from the US needed to immigrate to South America, Spain and many others.. they might break out with now not studying the language? I consider now not!!! We don't seem to be extra racist than any one else. As an issue of truth, there are extra racism among us hispanics than from the US.

That's a little crazy to expect the whole world to speak English. If you are traveling to another country, you are expected to know their language, not the other way around.
As far people that don't speak English in this country....well that's a different story. I do find it a bit of a nuisance when trying to communicate with someone like a fast food place that hardly understands anything that comes out of my mouth. I do not think it is right for someone that is bilingual to earn higher wages over someone that just knows English. With any other country, if you do not know their language, you have to learn it....and that's that, no exceptions. They will not make special accomodations for you. I feel that the Spanish speakers in this country should learn English like everyone else. People that have moved here from Asia, Africa, etc. all had to learn English in order to make it in America.

I think that you can inpress upon people to learn English. A decade ago to learn English, you had to attend costly English classes or purchase course material like tapes and books. Probably because English is a bastardized conglomeration of about half a dozen different languages and is one of the more difficult languages to learn. And also because you're a visitor in their land and they should not be required to learn a whole new language just because you're too bloody lazy to do it yourself.
From your comments on your home country I'm guessing that you're not actually American. Good... because that's the kind of idiotic attitude that gives Americans a bad reputation.

You are very uneducated, girl. Do you speak German, French, Spanish, Italian? Those who speak or understand more than one language show their intelligence and cosmopolitan view. Even if they don't speak it properly. I don't even believe you ever go out from USA!
